"Kami po ni Rico. I think based po sa post na ginawa ko po, I think it's very obvious," the 23-year-old actress admitted during a media conference on Monday, May 31.
"Right now, we are very excited and busy din. We are preparing such beautiful music together. Kaya abangan nila 'yon soon," she continued.
Maris and Rico first sparked dating rumors after the actress greeted the former Rivermaya frontman on his birthday.
On Instagram, the actress shared a black and white photo of Rico followed by a video of them singing Aqualung’s “Brighter Than Sunshine” as she greets him on his 48th birthday last March 17.
In the video, the two can be seen sitting closely together while Rico is playing the guitar.
Romance rumors between the two heightened when Rico replied, “Hahaha love youu!!!”
In 2019, the two singers collaborated for Racal’s song “Abot Langit.”
They also worked together for Maris' 2020 release, "Not For Me."
