Filmmaker Charlotte Wells’ debut film “Aftersun” bagged three Bafta Scotland awards on Sunday, Nov. 19 during the ceremony in Glasgow.
Paul Mescal won the actor film category while Wells took the director fiction and writer film/television awards.
The film starring Mescal and Frankie Corio as the father and daughter duo going to a Turkish resort for holidays was earlier nominated in five categories including best film and best writer.
Both ‘Aftersun’ casts are first-time Bafta Scotland nominees, with 13-year-old Corio being the youngest BAFTA Scotland nominee ever.
