As the annual "MayniLove" fair formally opened to the public on Monday, over 30 small and medium enterprises (SMEs) were expected to showcase their products.
During the opening of the fair, Manila Mayor Honey Lacuna urged her constituents and the neighboring cities to visit and support small businesses to rise again from the massive effects of the pandemic.
Lacuna invited all Manileños to support the project as a way of helping small entrepreneurs recover.
She added that people can bring their families and friends to the fair in celebration of Valentine's Day at the Mehan Garden.
The city organized the fair, which runs until February 17, through the Bureau of Permits and the city's economic development and investment promotion office. The event is free to attend.
The fair's booths sell a variety of goods, including clothing, bags, and food.
Visitors can also expect live song performances and photo opportunities at "Instagrammable" locations.
