The comedy film “Here Comes the Groom” will be screened at the upcoming Manila International Film Festival (MIFF) that will be held at the Director’s Guild of America in Los Angeles on November 2.
Enchong Dee, who stars in the film, delivered the great news through his Instagram account on Sunday.
“Humbled by another first,” he wrote in his caption.

Written and directed by Chris Martinez, "Here Comes the Groom" was first released in Philippine theaters in April of this year as an entry into the Metro Manila Summer Film Festival (MSFF).
The film takes off the soul-swapping tale of “Here Comes the Bride” in 2010, which starred Angelica Panganiban, Eugene Domingo, John Lapus, Tuesday Vargas, Tom Rodriguez, and Cai Cortez, among others.
With similarity to the 2010 comedy film “Here Comes the Groom,” the characters also swapped souls after a collision in a magnetic field during a solar eclipse.
Miles Ocampo, Maris Racal, Kempee de Leon, Gladys Reyes, Tony Labrusca, Awra Briguela, and Iyah Mina, among others, were part of the movie.
