The official trailer of “Bridgerton” season 3 has been released on Thursday, April 11 and highlights Colin and Penelope’s friends-to-lovers pipeline with a fair share of problems.
The two-minute trailer follows Penelope, the ton’s wallflower, who decides to get married and leave her home. Her initial struggle to find a husband gets remedied with the help of Colin who insists on helping her through a series of promenades.
Their proximity hints at a burgeoning romance on Colin’s end, as he was seen asking: “Mother, do you believe the best foundation for love is friendship?”
But issues arise as a certain Lord Debling, who also wishes to get married, notices Penelope’s radiance.
“Bridgerton” regulars Luke Thompson, Golda Rosheuvel, Adjoa Andoh, Ruth Gemmell, Lorraine Ashbourne, Hannah Dodd, Simone Ashley, and Jonathan Bailey will join Coughlan and Luke.
The new season also welcomes new casts with Daniel Francis who will play Marcus Anderson; James Phoon as Harry Dankworth; and Sam Phillips as Lord Debling.
Netflix’s “Bridgerton” series is a historical fiction romance based on the book series of the same name by author Julia Quinn.
The upcoming season of “Bridgerton” is set to hit the streaming platform on May 16 and June 13.
