Thai actor Win Metawin had a successful first solo fan meet in Manila on Sunday at the New Frontier Theater in Cubao, Quezon CIty.
The event started with Win singing his single "One More Chance" to the delight of his fans. The fanmeet then segued to a Q&A with host Kring Kim asking slambook questions to the Thai actor, adding to the "kilig" of the fans.
"Tine" gamely answered questions such as his favorite breakfast, which apparently he is skipping as he's on an Intermittent Fasting (IF) diet, but nevertheless said that "Krapow" will always remain his favorite food.
Another question that made the fans say "sana all" is the fact that part of his night routine is having to sleep at least seven to eight hours. He also mentioned that when he first learned that he's included in the Forbes list, he thought that it was a joke but said that he's very thankful for being part of it.
When asked what his most memorable series is, "2gether: the Series" reigned supreme as it was his first-ever series; and his fave character is both Tine and Kavin (from F4 Thailand: Boys Over Flowers) as the two characters have similarities.
Win is also appreciative of his fans as he mentioned that one of his memorable moments that his fans did to him was attend his graduation last year, during the time when the borders started opening up after Covid 19.
He's also looking forward to working with Filipino actress Anne Curtis whom he met during an event in New York City, USA, if given the chance.
Filo fans were also fortunate to meet "chef Win" as he prepared sandwiches to three lucky fans. He named his sandwiches as "My Love", "Baby Vegan" and "My girlfriend."
He then performed 2 cover songs, "Wai A Pao Baby" and "Pretend". Ofcourse, he will never skip singing his own songs, as he also sang "10 Years Later".
There were so many loud moments where fans just kept on shouting, gushing, and kept on screaming; the loudest cheer especially came when Win read a fan's note asking to bring "Bright" when he comes back to the country. There was excatly no answer from Win, but his bunny smile was enough to elicit loud cheers from his fans.
For his last performance, he surprised his fans by going down the stage and walked around while serenading them with his hit song "That Person Must Be You."
After the fanmeet, some fans as part of their perks got a 1:1, 1:10 and 1:15 photo opportunity with Win.
It may have been just a short fanmeet with Win, but it was worth it as no fan came home disappointed amid the threats of heavy traffic and delayed flights for some of them.
Win catapulted to stardom after appearing in the Thai BL hit series "2gether: The Series" with his on-screen partner Bright Vachirawit. The 2 are collectively called "BrightWin", one of the most popular BL couples to date. They're currently preparing for their Side By Side concert tour in Japan and Win just wrapped up his next GMMTV series "Enigma."
