The shearline, northeast monsoon or Amihan, and localized thunderstorms will bring rains over several parts of the country, according to the Philippine Atmospheric Geographical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) on Thursday, November 16.

Based on the weather bureau's latest bulletin, Bicol Region, Eastern Visayas, Caraga, Oriental Mindoro, Occidental Mindoro, Quezon, Marinduque, and Romblon will have cloudy skies with scattered rainshowers and thunderstorms caused by the shearline.

Cagayan Valley, Apayao, Kalinga, Ifugao, Mountain Province, and Aurora will experience cloudy skies with light rains due to the northeast monsoon.

Metro Manila, Ilocos Region, the rest of the Cordillera Administrative Region, the rest of Central Luzon, and the rest of Calabarzon will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated light rains also due to northeast monsoon.

Meanwhile, the rest of the country will experience partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms caused by shearline or localized thunderstorms.

For wind and coastal water forecasts, Luzon, Visayas, and the eastern section of Mindanao will experience moderate to strong winds moving in a northeast to north direction, while coastal waters will be moderate to rough.

The rest of Mindanao will have light to moderate wind speed moving in an east-to-west direction, while coastal waters will be slight to moderate.

Sunrise is at 5:57 a.m. while sunset will be at 5:24 p.m.
