Manila ranked fifth among the 10 cities in the world that are not ideal for creative professionals such as graphic designers, game artists, musicians, and choreographers to work in, a study from digital marketing company Adventrum released in early February showed.
In the study conducted by its Business Name Generator, the average monthly salary of creative professionals in Manila is $470, or Php 26,113, surpassing the monthly cost of living in the city of $518, or Php 28,780.

- Cost of living as a single person, excluding rent
- number of museums and art galleries
- number of green spaces
- number of classes and workshops
- Happiness score by country
