As reported by Christian Maño during Damdaming Bayan, the train's operation was interrupted at 6:00 a.m. and returned to its track at 7:43 a.m.
Operations in Baclaran Station to Fernando Poe Jr. Stations and vice versa were temporarily halted.
Passengers were reportedly stranded along several parts of Taft Avenue wherein most passengers decided to look for an alternative vehicle to ride in.
Light Rail Manila Corp. (LRMC) spokesperson Jackie Gorospe said that the hitch was caused by "lost traction power" or the sudden train power outage.
Meanwhile, LRMC asked for an apology for the inconvenience it has caused the travelers.
