A fire broke out in a residential area located in G. Araneta Avenue, Kitanlad Street, Barangay Tatalon, Quezon City on Friday, April 7.

The Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP) reported that the fire alarm was raised to the first level at 12:27 PM, then elevated to the second level at 12:38 PM. The fire was brought under control by 1:27 PM.

Four people were confirmed injured in the incident, including Randy Carillo, 55; Jamel Merchant, 33; Myca Indigo, 14; and Ryan Indigo, 33.

Despite heavy smoke, residents were searching through the remains of the settlement.
