Three were hurt after a fire hit a furniture warehouse in Barangay Balon Bato, Quezon City on early Tuesday morning, January 30.

As reported live by Val Gonzales during Dos Por Dos, the fire that reached second alarm started before 4 AM.

Seventy stay-in employees immediately got out of the burning warehouse. But three of them suffered burns and were brought to the hospital for treatment.

Bureau of Fire Protection's (BFP) initial investigation showed that the fire started in the two-story building's production area.

Firefighters had struggled to extinguish the fire due to the furniture stored in the area.

The BFP declared the fire under control at 6:55 AM.
