"Rewind", a 2023 Metro Manila Film Festival film entry starring Dingdong Dantes and Marian Rivera is now the highest-grossing film in the entire country for 24 days as of January 17!

"In Philippine domestic sales, #RewindMMFF IS NOW THE HIGHEST GROSSING FILIPINO FILM OF ALL TIME! 🎉, "ABS-CBNN Film Productions, one of the producers of the film, said in a Facebook post on Wednesday.

According to the film producer, the "Rewind" now has a total gross of PHP 845 million.

Meanwhile, MMFF 2023 spokesman Noel Ferrer praised Star Cinema and all the people behind the "Rewind".

“I would now even venture into saying that, if and when the awards for Box Office King and Queen for 2023 be given at all (calling the all-new Multi-Media Press Awards) : the rightful winners should be —- DINGDONG DANTES and MARIAN RIVERA of REWIND, bar none,” Ferrer said.

With its P845 million domestic and international ticket sales, "Rewind" now surpassed the previous record P838 million earned by Kathyrn Bernardo and Alden Richards' "Hello, Love, Goodbye" in 2019 in 24 days.

As of this writing, the film is still being shown in the Philippines and abroad.
