The Manila Police District (MPD) arrested drag artist Pura Luka Vega, whose real name is Amadeus Fernando Pagente, for the second time over criminal charges related to their viral performance of remix “The Lord’s Prayer” or "Ama Namin".
In a statement posted on X (formerly Twitter), Drag Den showrunner Rod Singh said Vega's arrest came after a Quezon City court issued an arrest warrant for three counts of immoral doctrines, exhibitions, and indecent shows under the Revised Penal Code in relation to Section 6 of RA 10175 or Cybercrime Prevention Act.
"This stemmed from a complaint filed against them by three churches affiliated with the Philippine For Jesus Movement," she said.
The bail bond is set at P360,000.
"To those who would like to help Luka for their bail and legal fees, Naia Black @brianblack_will handle the donation drive. Purka Luka Vega is being represented in court by Leflegis," she said

In a video obtained by DZRH News, an MPD personnel, who was wearing civilian clothes, read the warrant of arrest against the drag artist along a street.
"May karapatan kang kumuha ng sariling abogado. Kung hindi mo kaya, ang gobyerno ang magbibigay sayo nang libre. Naiintindihan mo ba ang karapatan mo? Okay, sumama ka muna sa amin," the personnel said.

In October last year, Vega was arrested by the MPD for the same charges but filed by the Kapisanan ng mga Social Media Brodkaster ng Pilipinas.
They gained provisionary freedom after they paid the recommended bail bond. The fund for the bail was donated by the drag artist's queer peers.
