In a separate statement posted on CNN Philippines' official website, Nine Media Corp., the company that operates CNN Philippines, confirmed the cessation, attributing this to great financial losses.

"The decision follows significant financial losses sustained over the past years, despite rigorous efforts to adapt and innovate in a rapidly evolving and challenging media landscape," it said.
