Kapuso actress Bea Alonzo will be part of the musical concert of the "Ang Larawan"!
The actress shared the good news on her Instagram account on Wednesday.
"Piano session with Mr. Cayabyab for ANG LARAWAN CONCERT. ♥️" she captioned, sharing a photo of her and other cast members in a rehearsal room.
Bea said she will be portraying Elsa Montes, the Conga Queen in the musical play.
"First time performing in a musical theater, and it's both exciting and nerve-wrecking!!! ♥️" she said.

Joining Bea are talented stars in the entertainment industry namely Jericho Rosales, Karylle, Kakai Bautista, Bituin Escalante, Mitch Valdes, Rachel Alejandro, Agot Isidro, Nyoy Volante, and many more.
The star-studded musical concert will be held at the Metropolitan Theater, Manila on May 6 at 7pm.
"Ang Larawan" is based on the literary play "A Portrait of the Artist as Filipino" written by late National Artist for Literature Nick Joaquin.
In 1997, the literary play was staged into a musical from a screenplay by National Artist for Theater and Literature Rolando Tinio.
The musical play was then adapted into a film in 2017 starring Paolo Avelino, Rachel Alejandro, and Joanna Ampil.
