Willie joins million people march

TV show host Willie Revillame—mad and all—joined the million people march at the Rizal Park in Manila on Monday.

At the rally, Revillame said that he’s not in the position to advise President Aquino, but the president should do what should be done for the country.

Revillame mentioned that the poor Filipinos and Overseas Filipino Workers, who are also paying their taxers, are suffering from the abusive legislators who are stealing the people’s money.

The TV show host is just only one of the celebrities spotted at the rally that aims to abolish the Priority Development Assistance Fund or widely known as pork barrel. (Reggie Espiritu)

Lovi Poe, loveless and loving it

Actress Lovi Poe is contented with her life even though she professes that she’s currently loveless.

Lovi said that she likes to focus more on her career.

She also said that she doesn’t mind going out alone because she enjoys hanging out with her girl friends.

The Kapuso actress feels that no one is trying to control her decision that’s why she’s not thinking of having another boyfriend anytime soon.

Meanwhile, she admitted that she rarely talks to actor Jake Cuenca after their almost relationship didn’t happen.

Last year during the launching of a magazine’s most beautiful stars, the Kapamilya actor was proud to say that for him, Lovi was the most beautiful person in show business.

As for Poe, she doesn’t mind if Jake had a change of heart and still considers him as a good friend.   (Judie Anne Abejero)

Quizon family celebrates Dolphy’s 85th birthday

A simple commemoration and celebration is what the Quizon family did in the 85th birthday of the King of Comedy Dolphy in front of his monument at the Museo Pambata along Roxas Blvd.

According to son and director Eric Quizon, they chose not to invite guests and make it a simple gathering because they want Dolphy’s celebration to be peaceful.

In connection to this, the younger Quizon said that there’s an application made by a giant telecommunication company for a game that stars his father.

An American company consulted him to ask for his permission on the company’s plan to make a game application to be called “Pidol clean up.”

The game is a combination of environmental and ghost busters theme but instead of zapping ghosts, the ghost buster terminates dirt from the nature. (Chris Capulso)

It's a boy!

LONDON — Britain's Prince William and his wife Kate were celebrating after she gave birth to a baby boy, providing the royal family with a future king and sparking a global media frenzy.

Cheering crowds rushed towards the gates of Buckingham Palace as it was announced that the Duchess of Cambridge had produced a healthy male heir weighing 8lbs 6oz (3.8 kilos).

The as-yet unnamed baby is third in line to the throne and in the direct line of succession after Queen Elizabeth II's eldest son and heir Prince Charles, and then his eldest son William.

"We could not be happier," William, the son of Charles and the late Princess Diana, said in a brief statement.

US President Barack Obama and his wife Michelle led international tributes to the "joyous occasion" while Canada was the first of the 15 overseas Commonwealth realms, countries where the queen is monarch, to hail the birth.

The former Kate Middleton, 31, spent ten hours in labour after she and William arrived around dawn at the private Lindo wing of London's St Mary's Hospital, Paddington, in central London.

"Her Royal Highness The Duchess of Cambridge was safely delivered of a son at 4:24 pm (1524 GMT)," Kensington Palace said in a statement just over four hours after she gave birth.

"The baby weighs 8lbs 6oz. The Duke of Cambridge was present for the birth." (AFP)
